Vitraag Asim Mehta represented Maharashtra in Table Tennis at National School Games

The Maharashtra team: Bronze medal winners

Vitraag Asim Mehta was a member of the bronze medal-winning Maharashtra U-14 Boys Table Tennis team at the National School Games 2008-09 which concluded recently at Chandigarh. Vitraag is the son of Asim and Nisha Mehta and grandson of Ashok Vadilal Mehta and Asha Ashok Mehta

 

A student of Std 8 in the New Era School (IGCSE), Vitraag was chosen as a member of the DSO Maharashtra table tennis team which participated in the event organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI).

 

The team beat Gujarat 3-0 to in the play-offs for the bronze medal held on January 13, 2009.

 

In addition to his skills in the game, Vitraag also pursues his love for singing with Ms. Shobhaben Sanghvi and has been successful in academics as well.
